Inter have turned down an offer of €50 million in cash as well as forward Anthony Martial from Manchester United for striker Lautaro Martinez.

This according to today’s print edition of UK tabloid the Daily Mirror, who report that the Nerazzurri are adamant that they only want a cash offer for the 24-year-old.

Martinez is reportedly the number-one target in attack for incoming Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag, and he has asked the club to try and get a deal done for him.

The Premier League side have tried to tempt the Nerazzurri by including Martial in a deal, but the Nerazzurri have not shown any interest in a player-plus-cash offer for the Argentine.

It remains to be seen if United will return with another offer to try and convince Inter to part ways with Martinez, or if the English giants’ interest in the striker has ended with the rejected offer.
