Inter striker Lautaro Martinez gave a purpose to his display against Udinese in yesterday’s 2-1 Serie A win by getting on the scoresheet, according to Italian media.
The 24-year-old received decent scores in the player ratings for the match across Italian media, as reported by L’Interista, although it was noted that without his goal the scores would have been lower.
Martinez almost failed to score from his penalty towards the end of the first half of yesterday evening’s match, but he got himself on hand to put away the rebound after Marco Silvestri tipped his initial effort onto the bar.
L’Interista note that the Argentine’s usual energy and intensity were on display, but that without the goal his impact would not necessarily have been up to par.
The Gazzetta dello Sport and the Corriere della Sera both gave Martinez a score of 6/10 for his display, whilst the likes of TuttoMercatoWeb and L’Interista went one score higher to 6.5/10.
