Ivan Perisic was Inter’s standout player in their 2-1 Serie A win over Udinese yesterday evening, according to Italian media.
The 33-year-old was given a 7.5/10 score for his performance in the player ratings for the match published in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, the highest of any Nerazzurri player.
Perisic calmed nerves with his early goal, finding the back of the net with a header from a corner, and from then on he was an important outlet for his team to keep Udinese pinned back in wide areas.
As has become customary this season, the Croat showed endless energy on both sides of the ball to help his team see out the important result and carry some of his team’s greatest attacking threat.
Meanwhile, Nicolo Barella and Stefan de Vrij were both awarded solid 7/10 grades, whilst Edin Dzeko was only given 5.5/10 and Joaquin Correa 5/10 for their misfiring attacking performances.
