Inter are set to face competition from Juventus to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Leandro Paredes during the summer transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Bianconeri have emerged as contenders for the 27-year-old’s signature along with the Nerazzurri, though his price tag and wages could be an issue.

Paredes has been reported to be one of Inter’s main targets in midfield this summer, as they go in search of a player who has the right qualities to back up Marcelo Brozovic in their midfield.

The Argentine’s contract with PSG runs out at the end of June 2023 and the Parisians would be looking to sell him this summer rather than let him leave on a free transfer at that point.

The Nerazzurri are interested, but so are the Bianconeri, though both clubs could struggle to meet the €20 million asking price as well as match the €7 million net per season which Paredes earns in the French capital.
