Legendary former Nerazzurri defender Rirccardo Ferri believes that Inter have been galvanized and look like a stronger team after the setback of their 2-1 loss to Bologna last week.

Speaking to Italian news outlet SportMediaset, Ferri gave the view that the Nerazzurri will have regrouped and found their collective strength in response to the damaging loss.

Inter will not have expected to drop points let alone to lose to the Rossoblu after they went a goal up in the match within three minutes, but they let the result slip away, and with it their control of their fate in the Serie A title race.

It was one of the most difficult moments of the Nerazzurri’s season, but they managed to produce the right reaction by getting back to winning ways away to a tough and in-form Udinese side yesterday evening.

Ferri was satisfied with what he saw from Inter against the Bianconeri, and feels that they look like they have absorbed the blow of the loss against the Rossoblu and come back even stronger.

“Inter are alive,” he said, “they’ve come back stronger this week. Likely after Bologna the team talked to each other in the locker room, and they came back stronger.”
