Legendary former Inter, Real Madrid, and Roma forward Antonio Cassano feels that while Inter got the job done against Udinese on Sunday, their performance wasn’t overly impressive.

Speaking on Christian Vieri’s Twitch channel, as reported by FCInter1908, Cassano gave his thoughts on the performance by the Nerazzurri in the 2-1 win.

Only three points could have been seen as a satisfactory result by the Nerazzurri to take back from their trip to Friuli, and they managed to get them.

A controlled first-half display saw Inter go in 2-0 up at halftime, while in the second half they conceded a goal but did enough to see out the result even if it was without keeping a clean sheet.

For his part, Cassano didn’t feel that it was a vintage display by the Nerazzurri, who he felt didn’t do enough to really dominate the Bianconeri on the night.

“Inter played as well as they did against Bologna,” he said of the match. “Udinese played a match without too much pressure, Inter didn’t impress me all that much.”

“Inzaghi went off the pitch at the end of the game and wasn’t smiling,” he added, “I didn’t see great enthusiasm in the faces.”
