Inter could avoid having to sell Lautaro Martinez this summer by cashing in on a number of players currently out on loan.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who name Martin Satriano and Andrea Pinamonti among the players the Nerazzurri could sell instead of Martinez.

The Nerazzurri are set for another summer in which they will have to meet financial targets by bringing in cash from the transfer market.

A big name player could be sold, but the aim is to avoid selling two major squad members as was the case last summer, and given that Martinez is seen as the most reliable attacker, the club wish to avoid selling him.

Pinamonti is attracting transfer interest due to his form on loan with Empoli, with Eintracht Frankfurt particularly keen on the 22-year-old, and the Nerazzurri value him at no less than €25 million.

Meanwhile, Satriano could be sold when his loan at Brest ends, with the Uruguayan potentially bringing in at least €15 million, and if Basel are to make Sebastiano Esposito’s loan deal permanent it will add €8 million to the Nerazzurri’s coffers.

Apart from these, the likes of Lucien Agoume and Samuele Mulattieri are also out on loan currently and could be cashed in on as part of an ambitious plan to avoid a blockbuster sale of Martinez.
