Inter midfielder Nicolo Barella is back in full training ahead of the Nerazzurri’s Serie A clash with Empoli on Friday evening.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the 25-year-old will be available for the match having already put the bruise to his knee suffered against Udinese behind him.

Barella had to come off the pitch late in the second half of the Nerazzurri’s 2-1 win over Udinese over the weekend, but the injury was nothing more serious than a bad bruise to his knee.

The midfielder is back in training with the rest of the squad ahead of the team’s next match, a Serie A clash with Empoli at the San Siro.

It remains to be seen if Barella will be included in the starting eleven to face Empoli or if Simone Inzaghi will decide to leave him out to give him a rest, but he will not be ruled out through injury.
