Former Inter defender Fabio Galante has said that Torino defender Gleison Bremer is ready to move to a big club this summer, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As has been reported by FCInternews, Fabio Galante spoke in a recent interview about the Inter summer transfer target.
Fabio Galante is a very big fan of the Brazilian defender and has been vocal about his admiration for him in the past.
He feels that he is ready to make the move to a big club and Inter are certainly one of the possible destinations.
“We are talking about one of the best defenders in Italy. In this championship he has shown that he is a reliable player, with great personality and quality.
“A player who also knows how to score and to be decisive. From what he has shown, he is ready for a big club.”
He makes it clear though that should Gleison Bremer go to Inter, he will find it tough to displace some of the current defenders that are of a high standard.
“Bremer is very strong, he is ready for a great Serie A team but going to replace people like De Vrij, Skriniar or Bastoni is not easy. These guys in recent years, they have had great seasons at Inter.”
In terms of who Gleison Bremer reminds Fabio Galante of, he chose former Inter centre back Walter Samuel who is highly respected for his time at Inter.
“Walter Samuel. Bremer is a physically strong defender, difficult to jump against. He can become another Nerazzurri wall.”
