Inter intend to use Andrea Pinamonti in a deal for Gianluca Scamacca but still feel that Sassuolo’s asking price is too high, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, Inter feel that the asking price of €40 million that Sassuolo want for young forward Gianluca Scamacca is too high.

That is even factoring in the Nerazzurri’s desire to use Andrea Pinamonti in the deal at the value of €20 million, a valuation that Sassuolo have not agreed to yet.

That means that some tough negotiating will have to be done between Inter CEO Beppe Marotta and Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali, two men who get along very well with each other.

A balance needs to be found where Sassuolo still feel like they are getting good monetary value as well as a player for their forward, but Inter can still complete other transfer deals.
