Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu has changed the way that he plays in order to solve an attacking issue for Simone Inzaghi, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Hakan Calhanoglu has been making a particular run when Inter are building attacks that points to a tactical tweak either from him or from Simone Inzaghi.

He has been progressively moving further up the pitch to get close to the strikers and he does this with an angled run that starts near the left wing and curves round until he ends up almost as a third striker.

This is likely because Inter have struggled to get enough bodies around the strikers in attack in the second half of the season and by launching forward from midfield, Hakan Calhanoglu can put his creativity to better use.

This surely adds value to the player for Simone Inzaghi.
