Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu has said that the Nerazzurri are only focused on their game with Empoli rather than what AC Milan are doing, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking to DAZN ahead of the game at San Siro, via FCInternews, the Turkish midfielder made it clear that the Inter squad are not thinking about the fact that AC Milan are playing two days after them and there is a chance to apply the pressure.

“Are we playing two days before Milan? I’m not talking about that, we only look at our games and today we have to win. Empoli are strong, they run with the ball well, it would be nice to win today.”

AC Milan are two points ahead of Inter heading into this weekend’s fixtures with three games left to play. Inter can go back to the top of the table with a win over the Azzurri and AC Milan will not have a chance to address that until their game away at Hellas Verona on Sunday night

Hakan Calhanoglu is starting the game in midfield after missing the Udinese match recently through suspension.
