Inter’s home form under Simone Inzaghi has been consistent with a Scudetto winning team as no one has done better, according to a report in the Italian print media today.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have scored 39 points from their 17 home Serie A games this season which is better than anyone else.
They have two games remaining at San Siro which are against Empoli on Friday evening and then Sampdoria on the final day of the season.
Despite this impressive home form, the Nerazzurri certainly cannot take anything for granted. The famous defeats against AC Milan and Sassuolo both came at home and so did the recent draw against Fiorentina.
Anything less than three points could be completely fatal to Inter’s Scudetto hopes so the coach will not be resting players or taking any risks. Three points is imperative to put pressure on AC Milan ahead of their game.
