Inter wingback Ivan Perisic produced yet another emphatic performance on both sides of the ball to help his team to produce a 4-2 comeback win against Empoli in Serie A yesterday evening.
The 33-year-old’s display was highlighted in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who awarded him a 7.5/10 score in the player ratings for the match.
Perisic has been having an outstanding season for the Nerazzurri on the left wing, and a big performance was once again needed by the Croat after his team found themselves 2-0 down in the first half of yesterday’s match.
The wingback rose to the occasion, however, with his energy and decision-making both crucial to driving the team forward as they laid on the pressure and chances to win decisively in the end.
Meanwhile, Hakan Calhanoglu was named as the Nerazzurri’s best midfielder on the night by Tuttosport, who awarded the Turk a score of 7/10 for his display.
