Striker Lautaro Martinez is determined to stay at Inter this summer and so the club could look to make other sales instead of him to meet financial targets.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are considering other ways to bring in money in the transfer market than selling the Argentine.

Despite having had an up-and-down season, Martinez has enjoyed his best goalscoring season in a Nerazzurri shirt and is finishing the season strongly.

Moreover, the 24-year-old has made it clear that he feels at home at the Nerazzurri, and has even emerged as a kind of leader figure within the team in important moments.

For this reason, the team are not inclined towards selling Martinez, and will do everything to keep a hold of him even though this will undoubtedly mean making other sales from the squad, which could prove difficult.
