Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni is set to make his return to full training either today or tomorrow in view of the Nerazzurri’s Coppa Italia final against Juventus on Wednesday.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 23-year-old should be fit and available to face the Bianconeri.

Bastoni has missed the Nerazzurri’s last three matches, against Bologna, Udinese, and Empoli in Serie A through a muscle strain, and it has never been totally clear when he would be able to make his return.

However, the defender’s recovery process appears to be all but over and he should be able to return to the group for normal training, possibly as early as today.

This will give Bastoni sufficient time to prepare for the clash with the Bianconeri, and coach Simone Inzaghi is ready to count on him for the Coppa Italia final clash.
