Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni is likely to return to full training tomorrow and is expected to be fit in time to start against Juventus in the Coppa Italia finalon Wednesday.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that there is optimism that the 23-year-old will be recovered in time to be available to start against the Bianconeri.

Bastoni did not make his return to full training in today’s session as had been hoped for, but he should be ready to be reintroduced to the group in tomorrow’s session.

The recovery timeline for the defender is still on track to see him available to make his return in Wednesday’s match, as he has been left out of training mainly as a precaution.

In the event that Bastoni is not able to make his return in time for Wednesday’s match, then Sky reports that it will be one of Federico Dimarco or Danilo D’Ambrosio to start against the Bianconeri.
