Inter are aiming to see Joaquin Correa at his best form heading into the 2022-23 season.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri are ready to try again to build around the 27-year-old in attack but expect him to be more consistent.
The Nerazzurri have officially completed the purchase of Correa for €33.4 million from Lazio, and a sale looks very unlikely so the club will be committed to the Argentine in attack.
So far this season, Correa has not had anywhere near the impact that has been hoped for in the final third, but the hope at the club is that after a full preseason to prepare he will be able to contribute at a higher level next season.
The club still trust in the Argentine’s quality having signed him because of his positive working relationship with Simone Inzaghi from the Biancocelesti, but expect their patience to be repaid with a positive trend in his form.
