Inter will be keeping an eye on AC Milan’s Serie A match against Hellas Verona this evening even as they focus on their preparations for Wednesday’s Coppa Italia final against Juventus.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that the team are carefully balancing the two competitions that they are still in as they aim to end the season with trophies.

Right now, the Nerazzurri are mentally all committed to their Coppa Italia clash with the Bianconeri, a massive opportunity for their second piece of silverware of the season after the Supercoppa Italiana.

The Nerazzurri have already beaten Juventus twice in 2022 and a third time would mean lifting the Coppa Italia for the first time in eleven years, but they know it will not be easy.

The Bianconeri will be hungry for revenge and the feeling is that if the match goes the way that the meeting between the two in Turin at the start of last month did, they have the better chance of winning.

However, Inter are working hard to get into the best condition and prepare the best approach for the match, before they play their remaining two matches in Serie A against Cagliari and Sampdoria.

In the meantime, AC Milan travel to face Hellas Verona this evening, needing at least a point to respond to the Nerazzurri’s victory over Empoli on Friday.

Inter are aware of how significant the Rossoneri’s match will be for their season, and are waiting anxiously and hoping for a stumble by their city rivals even as their focus remains on Wednesday’s match.
