Inter will do everything they can not to sell striker Lautaro Martinez this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Argentine is determined to stay in Milan and that the club are committed to finding an alternative to selling him during the window.

Martinez has been the subject to a number of transfer rumours, which have only heated up in light of his prolific recent form in front of goal.

A number of top clubs are reportedly keen on the 24-year-old, who has been identified as the player who could be sold in the summer with the Nerazzurri aiming to meet financial targets.

However, the player for his part has consistently reiterated his desire to stay at Inter instead of moving to another club.

The Argentine has immersed himself in life in Milan, and was happy to commit his future to the Nerazzurri by signing a contract until the end of June 2026 in the fall.

Martinez feels happy to be central to the project at Inter, and the team reciprocate this feeling, so they will look to find another way.

Players currently out on loan could be cashed in on or another sale could be made, but right now, the plan is not to sell Martinez.
