Inter wouldn’t necessarily be able to turn down an offer for striker Lautaro Martinez or defender Alessandro Bastoni worth €70-80 million this summer.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are focusing on keeping Nicolo Barella, Milan Skriniar, and Marcelo Brozovic in the squad at all costs.
Neither Martinez nor Bastoni are players who the Nerazzurri would want to part ways with in the summer, but they are among the players with the most transfer interest from big European clubs.
The Nerazzurri’s financial goal for the summer is to finish with a net profit of at least €60-70 million, and so this could necessitate a major sale during the window.
If a big name player is to be sold, the priority is to keep hold of Barella, Skriniar, and Brozovic, and so this could potentially mean that one of Martinez or Bastoni would be sacrificed.
