Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku could well be on the move this summer, with a return to Inter or a transfer to Barcelona among the main possibilities.

This according to Italian journalist Marco Barzaghi, who reported on his YouTube channel, via FCInter1908, that the 28-year-old’s situation is developing and that he could leave the English capital during the summer transfer window.

Lukaku’s situation in London has looked to be unsettled, as the Belgian has not shown his best form and has even spoken openly about expecting a change for next season, whether that comes in the form of a move away or something else.

A transfer would be difficult for the striker, who only completed his massive money move to the Blues less than one year ago, but the rumours have emerged that he could already be set for a departure.

A return to the Nerazzurri has been one of the main links and reported to be the player’s preference, though Barcelona have also emerged as candidates.

“There’s movement on Lukaku,” Barzaghi said. “I’m not saying anything for certain, but let’s see what happens.”

“Pay attention to Barcelona,” he added, “who at the moment seem to be the team with the strongest interest. We have to wait, see what happens. But there’s some interesting movement.”
