Inter went 2-0 down early on against Empoli, and even for them the situation looked to be a very difficult one in a match where three points were all but necessary to keep the pressure on AC Milan at the top.
However, the Nerazzurri roared back to go into halftime level, and in the second half of the match continued to piled the pressure on to win the match 4-2 and go top of the Serie A table for the time being.
