Inter can earn €5.5 million in total if they win the Coppa Italia final against Juventus on Wednesday evening.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are playing for a total amount of €5.5 million between the prize money for the competition as well as participation in next season’s Supercoppa Italiana.
Inter are already guaranteed €2 million in prize money for participation in the final, the same amount as the Bianconeri are, but the total price for winning the competition would be €4.5 million.
In addition, with victory in the Coppa booking a place in next season’s edition of the Supercoppa Italiana, that qualification would be worth €3 million.
In addition to the prestige involved in winning the Coppa Italia, both the Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri will be aware of the potential financial benefits of winning in Wednesday’s match in terms of prize money involved.
