Cagliari will not be allocating extra tickets to Inter supporters as they had done when they hosted AC Milan at the end of March.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Sardegna Arena is expected to be sold out, and that no more than 415 tickets will be sold to Nerazzurri fans.

When the Rossoneri travelled to Sardinia to face the Rossoblu, extra tickets were allocated to away fans in order to increase the turnout at the match.

However, for Sunday’s match there is little chance that the Rossoblu fans will not sell out the stadium with more than half of the tickets already sold, after the team’s last home fixture against Hellas Verona also sold out.

Cagliari are locked in a relegation battle and currently in the bottom three of the Serie A table, so there will undoubtedly be a raucous atmosphere for the match with both teams desperate for a win and the home fans urging their team on.
