Inter are proposing a swap deal to Atletico Madrid involving Nerazzurri forward Joaquin Correa and Colchoneros midfielder Rodrigo De Paul.

This according to Argentine broadcaster TNT Sports, who reported in a tweet that the two players who joined their respective clubs just last summer could be part of an exchange deal.

Correa joined Inter from Lazio last summer as an attacking reinforcement following the sale of Romelu Lukaku, whilst De Paul made the move from Udinese to Atletico.

However, neither of the pair have made the expected impact at their respective clubs, with Correa scoring just four goals for the Nerazzurri and De Paul finding the back of the net just twice for the Colchoneros.

The Nerazzurri are interested in adding De Paul to their squad going into next season, and have sounded out the idea of including Correa in a deal which could well be beneficial to both clubs.
