Italian agent Giuseppe Bozzo feels that while Inter are in a good position to sign Paulo Dybala this summer, they may not do so as he is not an ideal fit for the team in his view.

Speaking to Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, Bozzo gave the view that Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta could decide against a move for the Argentine on a free transfer as he may not be the right forward for the team’s 3-5-2 formation.

There is no denying Dybala’s quality, as he has been one of the outstanding players in the Italian top flight since his first season in with Palermo in 2014-15.

The signing of the 28-year-old without a transfer fee involved could represent a major opportunity for a team like Inter to strengthen for next season, but there would also be considerations beyond just the player’s quality.

As Bozzo pointed out, the tactical considerations could well be key, and he thinks that Inter could decide against bringing in Dybala.

“If Marotta wants Dybala, he will sign him,” he predicted. “But I think that, right now, the problem is more tactical than economic.”

“In Inzaghi’s 3-5-2 system, La Joya can only play in place of Lautaro,” he eplained. “That’s why Dybala at Inter seems to me to be a viable possibility, but not yet.”
