Inter President Steven Zhang is pleased at the team’s Coppa Italia victory earlier this evening, but feels that there is still work to do this season.

Speaking to Italian broadaster SportMediaset after the match, the President expressed his pride at a new chapter being written in the Nerazzurri’s history, and also gave the view that the Serie A title race is not over.

Inter take a momentary break from the Serie A title race to face Juventus in the Coppa Italia, their third meeting with the Bianconeri this season.

It was a wild match which saw both teams lead before the Nerazzurri won 4-2 in extra time, but the team won their first Coppa Italia title in eleven seasons in the end.

The President was happy with what he saw, and hopes that this can push the team on in the Scudetto race with AC Milan.

“I am proud to lead this teamn every day,” he said. “I’m happy to work closely to a group a group like thus, not just from a football point of view.”

“I thank the staff and all the people who gave us this magical evening,” he addded.

“This trophy will be a part of the history of Inter forever and we’re happy about it,” he added. “But it’s not over yet, we have to fight and push until the end.”

And asked whether he remains confident about the Scudetto, Zhang responded “Always.”
