A report in the Italian print media has highlighted Milan Skriniar’s growing leadership role at Inter following the win over Juventus on Wednesday night.

As was reported by Tuttosport when handing out their player ratings from the Coppa Italia final, Milan Skriniar is looking more and more like a leader in the Inter squad every time the Nerazzurri have a big game.

He started the match on the left side of the back three as Danilo D’Ambrosio was playing on the right and Stefan de Vrij was in the middle. Given Alessandro Bastoni is injured, that left Milan Skriniar playing in a slightly unfamiliar position.

The Slovakian was given a rating of seven out of 10 for his role in the Coppa Italia triumph. He is one of the many key players at Inter who are being linked with a move away in the summer as he would fetch a high fee. He is more likely to sign a new deal though.
