Inter winger Ivan Perisic will not be staying with the club next season after failing to agree on a new deal, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported today by Corriere della Sera, the Croatian has likely played his last cup final with the Nerazzurri after scoring twice to help beat Juventus in the Coppa Italia on Wednesday night.

Ivan Perisic’s contract with Inter expires at the end of this season and whether he would extend or not has been a topic of discussion for almost the entire season.

The 33-year-old has arguably been Simone Inzaghi’s best and most consistent performer all season long and that is why the club and the player wanted to continue together.

A difference in salary expectations and length of contract stopped the talks from ever really taking off and now he will decide if he wants to head back to the Bundesliga or find a Premier League team.
