Atalanta Striker Duvan Zapata’s Agent: “Nothing Right Now, If Inter Call We Will Listen”

The agent of Inter target Duvan Zapata has said that they will listen if Inter get in contact about a transfer, according to a report in the Italian media.
Speaking during an interview with L’Interista, Fernando Schena explained that there has not currently been any contact between Inter and the Atalanta striker regarding a transfer in the summer.
“At the moment there is absolutely nothing. Duvan has a contract and he is very well in Bergamo. But we know what football is like, anything can happen. If Inter calls, obviously we will listen to what they have to say, at the moment there have not been contacts.”
Duvan Zapata was heavily linked with a move to Inter towards the end of the summer transfer window in 2021 because he was a possible replacement for Romelu Lukaku who had just left for Chelsea.
The Nerazzurri chose to go down a different route as the Colombian would have cost too much money but now he is back in the frame.
He could provide a good chance for Simone Inzaghi to rotate with Edin Dzeko who will be too old to play as many games next season as he has played for Inter this season.
