The agent of Inter winger Valentino Lazaro has said that he will not extend his loan spell at Benfica and he wants to find a permanent home, according to a report in the Austrian broadcast media.

As was said by Max Hagmayr to Austrian media outlet LaOla, via FCInternews, the player is very likely to leave Benfica at the end of the season rather than renew his loan or try to sign a permanent deal with the Portuguese side.

The agent also added that the player cannot spend his entire career on loan at other clubs, suggesting Inter must find someone to buy the Austrian winger outright.

“Departure from Benfica? At the moment this is the scenario. It is not expected that he can always be a player on loan.”

Valentino Lazaro has made 18 appearances for Benfica in the Primeira Liga this season but only 34% of those appearances have been starts. He has not scored and has managed two assists.

His Inter contract does not expire until 2024 and Inter will want to sell him for a fee.
