Alessandro Bastoni is set to start for Inter in tomorrow evening’s Serie A clash with Cagliari as coach Simone Inzaghi aims to rely on his strongest possible starting eleven.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the coach will rely upon the 23-year-old as well as Denzel Dumfries and Joaquin Correa for the clash.

Bastoni is fully fit to start against the Rossoblu after having only been able to make an appearance from the bench in the Nerazzurri’s successful Coppa Italia final clash with Juventus over the week.

Inzaghi has not started the “gala eleven” containing all three of the trio of Bastoni, Dumfries, and Correa since the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final against Milan at the beginning of March.

However, alongside Bastoni coming back into the starting eleven, it looks as though both Dumfries and Correa are also favourites to come back into the starting eleven against Cagliari, in place of Matteo Darmian and Edin Dzeko.
