Former Inter striker Christian Vieri has said that both AC Milan and Inter deserve to win the Scudetto this season, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.
Speaking during an interview with DAZN, via FCInternews, Bobo Vieri explained that both of the Milanese teams have done enough this season to win the title and it is a treat for the Italians to be watching the battle every weekend.
“Both Inter and Milan. They are there, both, every Sunday they go to battle. It is wonderful for us Italians.”
Speaking further about the entertainment value of the league this season, Bobo Vieri pointed out that most other European leagues were wrapped up a long time ago but it is still not known who will win the Serie A title with two games to go.
“A spectacular championship this year. All the others have already finished a month and a half ago, Serie A is two days away and it is not yet known who will win the championship.”
AC Milan face Atalanta on Sunday evening and it promises to be a very tough game for the Rossoneri.
“Atalanta can beat anyone in Italy.”
Inter are currently two points behind Stefano Pioli’s side and will need to win both of their final games to stand a chance.
