Edin Dzeko is set to start for Inter in attack in their Serie A clash with Cagliari this season, ahead of Joaquin Correa.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 36-year-old is the favourite to start the match alongside Lautaro Martinez.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is not thinking about rotation anymore as he only aims to put out his strongest team in the Nerazzurri’s two remaining matches of the season, but absolutely must-win.

The main selection dilemma for the coach ahead of this evening’s match looks to be in attack between Dzeko and Correa, and the coach looks to be ready to decide on Dzeko to lead the line according to the Gazzetta.

Meanwhile, Denzel Dumfries is set to return to the starting eleven after Matteo Darmian started against Juventus in the Coppa Italia final on Wednesday, while Alessandro Bastoni is fully fit and will start on the left of the back three.
