Hoffenheim midfielder Florian Grillitsch has been offered to Inter and Lazio on a free transfer during the summer.

This according to yesterday’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Austrian has been proposed to several Italian clubs by his agents, though there does not appear to be serious interest on Inter’s part.

Grillitsch is available on a free transfer at the end of the season when his contract expires, and he has not signed an extension with Hoffenheim.

The 26-year-old has been reported to be on the Nerazzurri’s list of possible targets to reinforce in midfield, especially given that he has a similar profile to Marcelo Brozovic, a player who they are determined to back up during the summer transfer window.

However, Grillitsch does not appear to be a priority for the Nerazzurri, though he could join another club in Serie A or they could reignite their interest.
