Joaquin Correa looks to be the favourite to start for Inter in their Serie A clash away to Cagliari tomorrow evening.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who reported that the Argentine is ahead of Edin Dzeko in coach Simone Inzaghi’s thinking to start alongside Lautaro Martinez against the Rossoblu.

Correa was left out of the starting eleven for the Nerazzurri’s victorious Coppa Italia final against Juventus during the week, coming on as a substitute while Dzeko was in the starting eleven.

However, in tomorrow’s match at the Sardegna Arena the 27-year-old looks to be set to make his return to the starting eleven, with Dzeko dropping to the bench.

Meanwhile, Alessandro Bastoni is fully fit and will start against Cagliari, having missed out on the Nerazzurri’s past three Serie A clashes with Bologna, Udinese, and Empoli and only come on late in the Coppa Italia final against the Bianconeri.
