Inter have yet to agree terms with captain Samir Handanovic on a new deal in terms of wages.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the club will still have to work out salary terms with the 37-year-old, although they feel confident that they can get a deal done.

Handanovic’s current deal expires at the end of June, although the club have been widely reported to be hoping to keep him on for at least one more season while Andre Onana settles in to life in a Nerazzurri shirt.

The Slovenian is likely to be renewed on lower wages than what he currently earns, although it remains to be seen exactly how much the club will offer and whether he will accept an offer.

For the time being there is no agreement, and the Nerazzurri will have to work it out with their captain at the end of the season when the talks start up again.
