Ivan Perisic kept his excellent season going with another outstanding performance in the Nerazzurri’s 3-1 win over Cagliari yesterday.

Today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport named the 33-year-old as the best player on the pitch after Lautaro Martinez in their player ratings for the match published in today’s print edition.

Perisic has been not just one of Inter’s but also one of Serie A’s most consistent performers all season, and he kept this up with a solid display on both sides of the ball to help the Nerazzurri see off Cagliari.

The Croat was vital to the first-half opener, with his pinpoint cross finding the head of fellow wingback Matteo Darmian, on a night where the two experienced wide players were crucial to the Nerazzurri’s efforts.

Perisic and Darmian both received 7/10 grades, with Tuttosport particularly highlighting the former, while the imperious Lautaro Martinez was the highest-scored player with an 8/10 rating.
