Inter striker Lautaro Martinez’s dynamic display and match-winning brace in yesterday evening’s 3-1 Serie A win over Cagliari has seen him hailed as the team’s man of the match across the board in Italian media.

Italian news outlet L’Interista highlighted the excellent scores that the 24-year-old was awarded across the board for his performance in the player ratings for the match across various outlets.

Martinez did everything but score in the first half, as Rossoblu keeper Alessio Cragno and the frame of the goal made sure that he was not able to find the back of the net despite looking sharp in front of goal.

However, in the second Martinez was not to be denied, as the Argentine scored two very well-taken goals to see off the Rossoblu.

The Gazzetta dello Sport and L’Interista both rated Martinez’s performance at 7.5/10, whilst the likes of Tuttosport, the Corriere dello Sport, and TuttoMercatoWeb all went one higher to 8/10.
