Inter and AC Milan are set to battle it out for the signature of Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca during the summer transfer window.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 23-year-old is a target for both the Nerazzurri and their city rivals.
Scamacca looks set for a departure from Sassuolo this summer, as among the Neroverdi’s big name players he appears to be the one to have taken the decisive step up to being ready for Champions League football.
Where the 23-year-old’s destination will be is not certain, but he could remain in Serie A, and if this is to be the case then the Nerazzurri and the Rossoneri would be his main suitors.
Meanwhile, the Gazzetta also reports that the Neroverdi are looking to keep hold of Inter targets Davide Frattesi and Giacomo Raspadori for another season rather than selling them this summer.
