Inter are likely to make a big name sale this summer, whether it comes in the form of Lautaro Martinez or another player in the squad.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the club are moving away from the idea of selling Martinez but that this would likely mean the departure of another key squad member.

Martinez has been linked as the likeliest candidate to leave the Nerazzurri during the summer transfer window in recent weeks, as he is the highest-value player and has no shortage of suitors, while his form had dipped considerably.

However, since the beginning of last month the 24-year-old’s form has made the Nerazzurri take notice, and they are now questioning whether selling him would be the right plan.

In the event that Martinez is not sold, the candidates to be sold would be Milan Skriniar, Alessandro Bastoni, Nicolo Barella, and Denzel Dumfries.
