Inter could include striker Sebastiano Esposito as part of an offer for Empoli midfielder Kristjan Asllani this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that should the 19-year-old return from his loan with Basel he could be offered as part of a deal to convince Empoli to let Asllani go.

Asllani has been identified as the Nerazzurri’s primary target to back up Marcelo Brozovic in the squad going into next season.

However, Empoli are reluctant to let the Albanian go ahead of next season, and AC Milan could satisfy the Tuscans by signing him this summer but sending him back on loan for next campaign.

The Nerazzurri are thinking of including Esposito in an offer to Empoli in the hopes that the Tuscans would see the striker as sufficiently strengthening their squad to part with Asllani.

Basel could make the loan of Esposito permanent this summer, but look to be inclined towards sending him back to Inter.
