Inter wingback Ivan Perisic believes that the Serie A title can still be achieved with just one more match to go, and he is fully focused on getting the best result out of Sunday’s clash with Sampdoria.

Writing in a post on his Instagram story, as reported by FCInterNews, the 33-year-old emphasized his focused mindset ahead of the Nerazzuri’s final match of the campaign.

Peirisic’s future looks to be in some doubt, wit the Croat potentially leaving Inter on a free transfer if the club are unable to agree a new contract with him at the end of the season.

However, the wingback feels as confident as ever that the team can finish their season off in the best way possible, as long as they put their heads down and work ahead of their final match of the season.

Finishing the season with the Serie A title will be difficult given that the Nerazzurri’s fate is not in their own hands and they must rely on a result in AC Milan’s match, but Perisic wants to finish the season the right way no matter what.

“Fully focused on Sunday,” he writes. “Never give up!”
