Inter will not sell defender Alessandro Bastoni for an offer of less than €55 million, and would likely expect more than this.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri have outlined their stance on the valuation of the 23-year-old.
Bastoni could well depart from the Nerazzurri this summer, with Manchester City in particular having been linked with a big money move.
If a large enough offer comes in, Inter could feel that it is too much to pass up given the possible need for another big name sale to meet financial objectives in the summer, though it would take a significant amount.
The club look at the sale of Cristian Romero to Tottenham Hotspur as the benchmark that will be the bare minimum that they would accept in an offer for Bastoni, with the Argentine having been sold by Atalanta for €55 million.
