Inter’s Chilean duo Alexis Sanchez and Arturo Vidal are likely to make their final appearance for the club against Sampdoria on Sunday, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, the Nerazzurri are likely to terminate the contracts of Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sanchez at the end of the season in order to remove them from the wage bill.

They have an option to pay Arturo Vidal €4 million to terminate his contract and they are expected to use it after the Sampdoria game.

The same could happen with Alexis Sanchez but Barcelona may be able to sign him for free instead. If  that does not happen, he will have the contract terminated on the same terms as the midfielder.

Both players have played a bit-part role under Simone Inzaghi and their contributions have not warranted being the two highest-paid individuals in the squad.
