Inter view Paulo Dybala or Duvan Zapata as the ideal strike partner for Lautaro Martinez next season should they keep the Argentine at the club, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport this morning, Lautaro Martinez’s improved form means that the club are less willing to cash in on him this summer and that will rule out the signing of Gianluca Scamacca as the figures do not add up.

The Nerazzurri must then choose someone to partner Lautaro Martinez whilst also effectively replacing Alexis Sanchez who will leave the club.

That is where Juventus’ Paulo Dybala is viewed as the best option on a free transfer. That will only work with a salary of less than €6 million but with a lot of bonuses.

They could instead look for a more conventional centre forward which is where Atalanta’s Duvan Zapata comes in.
