One of Inter’s main missions is to reject the interest from Premier League clubs and tie Milan Skriniar down to a new contract with the Nerazzurri, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, rumours of interest have been arriving from teams like Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur as Milan Skriniar is out of contract in 2023.

He currently earns 3.5 million per season but the new deal will run until 2027 and see him earn 4.5 million as well as bonuses, like the deal that Nicolo Barella signed earlier this season.

The Slovakian defender has become a real leader in the Inter dressing room this season and many feel he could be the captain in the near future.

He has been consistent all season and Simone Inzaghi does not want to entertain the idea of losing him in the summer.
