One of Inter’s four biggest and most valuable players will have to be sold in the summer to help the financial situation at the club, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Corriere della Sera, one of Nicolo Barella, Lautaro Martinez, Milan Skriniar or Alessandro Bastoni are likely to be sacrificed by the Nerazzurri this summer.

Each of those players would fetch a fee in excess of €60 million based on the club’s valuations. The two central defenders have got clubs all over Europe that are interested in signing them.

Lautaro Martinez and Nicolo Barella are thought to be less likely to be let go by Inter but offers will certainly be listened to should they arrive.

Inter want to end the summer with a profit of €60-70 million and a wage bill that has been decreased by 10-15%, meaning a big sale is very plausible this summer.
