Francesco Acerbi and Alessio Romagnoli are two players being touted as possible replacements at Inter for Alessandro Bastoni, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by the Roman daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport today, there is a growing chance that Inter are going to sell Alessandro Bastoni this summer in order to raise the money they need to aid the financial situation and stock other areas of the squad.

In terms of replacements, the newspaper reports that of the left-footed centre backs on the market, Lazio’s Francesco Acerbi and AC Milan’s Alessio Romagnoli are the two most achievable signings.

Alessio Romagnoli lost his place in the Rossoneri defence during the season as the excellent form of Simon Kjaer and Fikayo Tomori, followed by Pierre Kalulu, meant there was no space for him.

Inter also need to work out what Stefan de Vrij will do as his deal expires next summer.
